Basalt Wool Novoterm HT Roofing 180
1000x600 mm (7.2 m²)
Novoterm HT Roofing 180 basalt insulation is a slab made of basalt fibers designed for two-layer/three-layer insulation of flat roofs. Two-layer insulation is an effective and economically viable roofing insulation solution. The thermal insulation layer is formed from mineral wool slabs of different densities, the top layer being of stiffer wool, and the bottom layer being of less stiff wool. This solution ensures high strength of the thermal insulation layer against local loads, low thermal conductivity, and low cost. The three-layer solution should be used behind corrugated sheeting when the calculated insulation thickness is less than half the distance between the ridges of the profiled decking, i.e., b/2. The thermal insulation layer is formed from mineral wool slabs of different densities, the top and bottom layers being of stiffer wool, and the middle layer being of less stiff wool.
Advantages:
- effective heat conservation, low thermal conductivity;
- high sound insulation properties;
- slabs are not subject to biological influence;
- high vapor permeability;
- insulation is resistant to mold, fungi, rodents.
