Description:

Optiflex Sheet is a closed-cell elastomeric rubber-based sheet insulation material with a homogeneous cell structure, designed for use in air conditioning, heating, and cooling systems. It is available with aluminum foil facing and self-adhesive options.

Areas of Application:

  • Used for thermal insulation and condensation control on the outer surfaces of ducts and large-diameter pipelines in heating, cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Products with aluminum foil facing are recommended for use in areas where heat transfer by radiation is possible.
  • Panels are glued to the surface of the duct they will be applied to using a special adhesive.
  • To ensure sealing, joints should be glued, and if necessary, covered with insulating tape after gluing.
  • Products with aluminum foil facing can be used in areas with solar exposure without requiring separate UV protection.
