Areas of Application:
Optiflex Pipe Insulation:
Elastomeric Rubber Pipe Insulation Material
This is an elastomeric rubber pipe insulation material with closed cells and a smooth cellular structure, designed for use in air conditioning, heating, and cooling systems.
Areas of Application:
- Used for thermal insulation and condensation control on the outer surfaces of pipelines in heating, cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- The insulated pipe must fit tightly against the inner surface of the rubber, leaving no gaps. Joints must be glued to ensure airtightness.
Properties and Advantages:
- Low thermal conductivity ensures long-term energy efficiency.
- High reliability of the insulated system is achieved with the installation of thermal clamps.
- The closed-cell structure with a low water vapor permeability coefficient reduces the risk of corrosion under the insulation.
- High material elasticity allows for fast installation.
- The material's lack of shrinkage and ability to recover after loading minimizes the risk of gaps between the insulation and the insulated surface.
- Foamed rubber reduces structural noise from pipelines.
- Does not emit dust or crumble into fibers.
- Antimicrobial additives reduce the risk of mold and fungi formation.
